I want to thank you for allowing me to be here.
I am here at this prayer vigil that I have seen many times on Zoom, and many times I wished I
had been here, and now I’m here. So God is good.
I am grateful for the WCLC that asked us to be here, the KCLC and the KRA and the Family
Federation and for all of the family of True Mother. And for all of you that are here tonight, I thank
you.
We are especially thankful tonight after seeing True Mother. I did not know what to expect when
we went into the detention center. And my nerves got a little bit beside me.
And then I thought, why am I nervous? This is where we are going to show true love to one
another.
And it was almost like we bonded together before we even saw True Mother. And once we saw
True Mother, the bond came even tighter.
I’m so thankful for that I was amazed this week learning from the lectures by Reverend Lee and Professor Kim. We learned some very interesting things. And I just want to highlight a few of those.
As a united body of clergy from around the world, we gathered this week to pray for True Mother
and to attend the lectures presented by the professors. These were not merely academic sessions. They
were moments of reflection, moments of actual awakening.
And we examined the epic history of the Han people, as you’ve already heard. And it was so
interesting because when I saw True Mother, I said to her, I learned this week about the epic history of
your family. And I said that more people need to hear about this.
If we could share the truth about God, Jesus, the family in the epic and the Holy Spirit all around
the world, how much better would this world be? How much better would we be?
Because we know where the Holy Spirit comes from and we know that God allows us to feel the
Holy Spirit and to have it within ourselves.
And I’m so glad and I’m thankful because at nine years old I received the Holy Spirit. And till today
I can trust and have faith that God has walked with me, talked with me, healed me, and delivered me
so many times in so many ways.
As much as I’ve experienced it, you can experience it. I am sure many of you have experienced this.
When we examine the epic history of the Han family and the Han people in Korea, we see they
are a people shaped by God’s providence. The Han people are a people shaped by providence and
perseverance, a people formed through hardship, through resilience, through deep heart. They are a
people who have sought to understand the Will of God and to carry it out. Throughout history, God
has worked through prepared people to bless the world.
The culture itself that we live in today is actually changing and this is one of the things that we were
taught this week by Mr. Lee. There’s a cultural change around the world and it is being noticed today
in the media and in other outlets, and is having some influence on the public. It is a culture formed
around emotion.
But the enemy will keep us deterred in our minds and our hearts to keep us from knowing where
to go and what to do, from knowing how to get help and strength for ourselves. He will work through
other ways and means.
And so therefore, we do have a culture today that teaches that you don’t have to deal with your
emotions. So you forget your past and you forget your pain. You forget your hardships and think that
we will work it all out through a community.
But we do not need to forget our past. That is where we learn. That is where we grow from. And we
do not need to forget where the goodness of God comes from.
Unity does not come by bypassing repentance. We do not erase our past. We learn from it. We grow
through it. Emotional suppression is not spiritually natural.
True restoration begins when the heart actually turns toward God. God gave us the ability to think,
not to live as robots, but to discern, to pray, and to choose.
God did not create us to function in ungodly ways, but to serve God, shaped by trends and culture
waves. Faith is not a weakness. It is actually strength anchored in God.
The most important and relevant need that we have this hour is that we, as the children of God,
who truly love True Mother, enter into intercessory prayer.
If you enter into intercessory prayer for True Mother, I believe that God can work. I believe that
God can make miracles happen for True Mother. We don’t want just casual prayers or routine prayer,
but prayer that stands in the gap for True Mother, prayer offered with humility and lifted with faith.
Heaven hears when you pray, and responds.
When praying for True Mother, we must enter into intercessory prayer. My prayer is this, that
there would be such a sweet, divine touch from God, of the Holy Spirit among us, a real presence,
not something that is fake or pretend, but something that is real, so gentle, so undeniably worthy of
what you and I need from God, that it reaches deep into our hearts, our souls, and our minds. This is
because the Holy Spirit is truly moving, not remaining in one place.
And one of the things we love about True Mother is that she is strong. She was saying “Let’s get
down to business. Enough with the enemy trying to keep me down. We’ve got to go on and serve God
and do what God wants us to do.”
We need the spirit of God in our families, our schools, our homes, our churches, and we need it
everywhere, even where we work.
And so for that reason, I just want to leave with you that we are the children of God, and we want
to do exactly what God allows for us to do.
