Historical Pilgrimage Transcending Boundaries for
the Sake of Peace
To mark the 116th anniversary of patriot Ahn Jung-geun’s death, the Korea Religions Association and
KCLC ministers went on a Northeast Asia tour of historical sites from March 26 to 30 (HC 2.8-12). During the tour, participants remembered the life of Ahn Jung-geun while also reflecting on True Parents’ ideology of peace. The faith leaders visited the Lushun Russo-Japanese Prison Museum, where they
held a memorial ceremony for Ahn Jung geun. They also explored historical and cultural sites and climbed to Heaven Lake on Mount Baekdu, where they offered prayers for the reunification of North and South Korea. The clergy agreed to do their utmost, transcending denominational boundaries, to
contribute to peace on the Korean Peninsula and throughout the world.
