The Family of Jung Min-kyu & Kim Eun-mi

Jung Min-kyu and Kim Eun-mi, members of Gwangju Grand Church in the Gwangju–Jeonnam–Jeju District, received the Blessing in 2013 and are now raising five second-generation children and guiding them in their life of faith. During the Cheon Won Gung and Cheon Jeong Gung Holy Ground Pilgrimage, their entire family participated together, and their hearts were deeply moved as they directly experienced the love of Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
During the Special Cheon Jeong Gung and Cheon Won Gung Holy Ground Pilgrimages, held as part of the 2025 Autumn Hyojeong Cheonbo Great Works, our editorial team met with this blessed couple to hear about their journey of faith and their family’s experiences.

First Holy Ground Pilgrimage as a Family

“This was our first time making a pilgrimage as a family. For a long time we have been hoping to visit both Cheon Jeong Gung and Cheon Won Gung, but for various reasons we had never been able to. This morning we visited Cheon Jeong Gung, and in the afternoon, Cheon Won Gung. While paying our respects and offering prayer at Bonhyang Won, True Father’s resting place, the sunlight suddenly broke through the clouds and shone brightly. At that moment, it felt as though Heavenly Parent was welcoming our family and delighted to see us visiting there.”
With a trembling voice, Jung Min-kyu recalled the moment.
“Our children are still young, so it was difficult for them to stay fully focused. As I bowed at Bonhyang Won for the first time, the thought came naturally, ‘It has taken 13 years for me to offer my respects. True Father, I am truly sorry.’ At Cheon Jeong Gung, I was grateful to explain True Parents’ efforts and devotion to my children, and to talk to them about the Will that True Parents are seeking to pass on to the ensuing generations through this majestic and beautiful palace.”
With a warm, gentle smile—much like the clear weather that day—he continued,
“Seeing the grandeur of Cheon Jeong Gung and Cheon Won Gung, I believe our children also felt Heavenly Parent’s love. This day has become a new starting point in faith for our whole family.”

Our Heart for True Mother

Standing before Cheon Won Gung, Jung Min-kyu was overcome with deep emotion and longing for True Parents.
“For the 13 years since True Father’s Seonghwa, True Mother has poured out her entire heart and strength to offer this magnificent and beautiful Cheon Won Gung Cheonil Sanctum to Heaven. As I took it in, the question naturally arose within me: ‘What have we been doing during this time?’ It became a moment of sincere self-reflection.”
He described Cheon Won Gung as “the culmination of human history and the realization of Heavenly Parent’s dream.”
“While praying in this sacred place, I felt deeply that Heavenly Parent longs to embrace each son or daughter with a love that is utterly pure and spotless. True Mother, upholding Heaven’s Will, poured her whole heart and devotion into building this temple, which she dedicated, and then finally completed the Entrance Ceremony. Reflecting on that entire course, we were moved to contemplate how we should carry forward the Will that True Mother wishes to see fulfilled.”
He continued, “Heavenly Parent’s dream that True Mother seeks to realize—the establishment of substantial Cheon Il Guk families—is the very path we must follow. We will treasure this era we share with True Mother, gratefully inherit her heart and vision, and pass them on to our second-generation children.”
“I earnestly pray that our children will grow into proud Pure Waters, flowing into the world during True Mother’s time on earth, contributing to the fulfillment of Heavenly Parent’s dream and the unfolding of a new era in history. This pilgrimage has reaffirmed that commitment, and we sincerely pray for True Mother’s continuing good health and strength.”What is the current responsibility of our blessed families who are living in the Cheon Il Guk era, the time for the completion of God’s providence? The Creator, the center of the universe, had a dream. God created the natural world, and finally created the first man and woman in the divine image, giving them a growing period, a span of time during which they should mature.

For 6,000 years, human history has seen a constant cycle of war and conflict. Through human ignorance, even this beautiful planet Earth—which Heavenly Parent created for us—is being destroyed. Scientists are saying that at this rate there is little hope for the future of humanity or for the future of our planet Earth.
What do you think is the mission of the Second Coming Messiah? What was Jesus’ hope? Why did he say he would come back? He indicated he would return to meet the Only Begotten Daughter.
