Youth from 23 Nations Shaping a Future of Peace
The 2026 International Youth and Students Assembly was held over three days from September 17 in Manila, the Philippines. 800 people attended in person while more than 5,000, including young educators and leaders in society, connected from 23 nations across Heavenly Asia-Pacific.
Through the Peace Designer Workshop and S!NERGY Competition, practical solutions to community challenges included a solar-powered water project and an inclusive education initiative, with innovation leading to service.
Continental Director Yutaka Yamada emphasized that a huge impact can be achieved when young people unite and work together for a great purpose. Participants resolved to build peace through service, cultural exchange and international fellowship across nations and generations.
