Playing for Peace, Sharing for Others
A Peace League futsal charity match commemorating the 28th anniversary of the proclamation of the World Culture and Sports Festival was held on September 27 at Acheon Stadium in Guri. Under the theme “Future, Dreams and Love for Peace,” the tournament brought together 150 players and supporting family members, a total of 14 teams from across Korea. After a closely contested tournament, FC Alexander emerged as the champion.
The event also raised funds to provide futsal balls to the less advantaged, with support from YSP and Ilhwa Company, adding a spirit of giving to the competition. The next Peace League tournament is scheduled for November in Nagoya, Japan.
