Preparing for the Blessing, Reaffirming Faith and Identity
The Johor Bahru center in Malaysia hosted a Level Two Blessing Workshop for second-generation members on September 26 and 27. Young people and their parents explored their readiness for the Blessing and learned to speak openly together. Southeast Asia’s Blessed Family Department director Lam Cheng Hai stressed purity in body and mind. Heavenly Asia Pacific’s Blessed Family Department education head Yeoh Koay Phing encouraged young people to examine their motivation and readiness honestly. Testimonies reflecting on the meaning of the Blessing showed that preparation does require faith.
