Representing districts across the country, the players competed for the championship through a knockout tournament, while off the court the participants kept up spirited cheering that added to the excitement of the event.

In the Sunghwa division, the Cheonwon Special team claimed the title. The young adult final was a close contest whose outcome was difficult to predict until the very last moment. The Daegu-Gyeongbuk team and the Busan-Ulsan team battled fiercely throughout regulation time, but neither side was able to score, and the match ended 0–0.

Having remained evenly matched throughout regulation time, the two teams took the contest all the way to a penalty shootout, creating the tension befitting a final. In the shootout held to decide who would lift the trophy, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk team defeated the Busan-Ulsan team to take the young adult title.
Nam Hyo-sang, a player on the Daegu-Gyeongbuk young adult team, said, “I think we were able to achieve the good result of winning the championship because we prepared hard with the heart of becoming one as a team.” He added, “Being together with the Pure Water members who gathered from across the country, I could feel through this tournament that our future is bright and full of hope.”
