From Learning to a Life of Filial Devotion
On October 4 (the 24th day of the 8th month of the Heavenly Calendar), a special closing service for the 2026 summer workshops was held at the national headquarters of the Family Federation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Some 780 people attended the service, held under the theme “A Heart of Filial Love for Holy Mother Han.”
Youth Department Director Han-hwa Katrine emphasized the importance of putting filial devotion to True Parents into practice.
The program also featured presentations by second-generation youth, the awarding of workshop completion certificates, and an awards ceremony recognizing winners of various competitions. In particular, the Goma Sunday School team took first place in the singing competition.
Participants reflected on what they had learned during the workshops and renewed their determination to put the values of filial devotion into practice.
