MISSIONARY MOON SHIN-CHUL’S TOUR
FAITH BEGINS WITH IDENTITY
On 2.3 by the heavenly calendar in the 14th year of Cheon Il Guk (21 Mar 2026), Missionary
Moon Shin-chul’s tour began at Gwangjin Grand Church in the Northern Seoul District. It
continued through Gangdong Grand Church (Southern Seoul District), Incheon Grand Church (Incheon Gyeonggi Western District), and Namyangju Grand Church (Northern Gyeonggi District), where talks and discussion sessions were held. Each church hosted gatherings bringing together the young generation and core members, offering opportunities to reflect on the meaning of being a faith community.
At each church, Missionary Moon first met with those directly involved in young generation ministry—the teachers of the Seonghwa students and the younger Hyo-dong children, as well as the youth ministers. Sitting together, they discussed the realities and challenges of ministry. These conversations provided valuable opportunities to reassess the direction of education for the younger generation.
The role of the community in nurturing young people was especially emphasized. “For young adults and Seonghwa students, the church is not merely a place for activities, but a space where they can discover the meaning and direction of life,” he said, underscoring the need for a community grounded in love, understanding, and empathy.
During a meeting with core members, he expressed deep gratitude to elder members who have devoted their lives in faith. In turn, they offered warm encouragement, sharing wisdom and insights gained throughout their journeys of faith.
In talks to the young generation, he testified about his struggles of faith during his formative years and shared how he came to reconnect more deeply through the history of the Family Federation and the lives of elder members. He also spoke of transformation through the Word and through faith practices, including offering jeongseong (devotions and service), emphasizing that faith leads beyond the individual toward a greater purpose.
“Identity is the compass that guides the choices in our lives,” he said, encouraging a renewed awareness of the identity of blessed families and the meaning of being a chosen people. He further underscored that the love of Heavenly Parent is constant and ever-present.
Yoo Jin-ho (Gwangjin Grand Church) shared, “Through Missionary Moon’s message, I was able to reflect on the direction the young generation should pursue. It helped me establish a cl ear mindset as a Seonghwa teacher.” Shim Yu-na (Gangdong Grand Church) remarked, “I could feel the heart of True Parents through his words, and it became an opportunity for my perception of the church to grow more positive.”
Ahn Eun-su (Incheon Grand Church) said, “It was meaningful to have an honest conversation about the young generation with Missionary Moon. It led me to reflect on the direction our Incheon youth should take.” Yoo Seung-min (Incheon CARP Center) added, “Through the Great Epic education, I was able to connect once again to the vision of one family of humankind under True Parents. I will grow into a young person who can realize that vision.”

PROUD BLESSED FAMILIES
Missionary Moon Shin-heung began his journey from the farthest regions. Starting on 2.3
by the heavenly calendar in the 14th year of Cheon Il Guk (21 Mar 2026) at Jangheung Church in the Gwangju–Jeonnam–Jeju District, he continued to Yeoncheon Church (Northern Gyeonggi District), East Busan Church (Busan–Ulsan District), and Hamyang Church (Gyeongnam District), holding Sunday Services, discussion sessions, and meetings with the young generation members.
During Sunday Service, he delivered a message centered on the Great Epic of the Chosen Han People of Korea. He emphasized, “Just as the people of Israel never lost their identity as a chosen people under any circumstances, the Korean people and blessed families today must also fulfill their responsibility as a chosen people.”
He encouraged members to reflect on the lives of those who have preserved their faith and to reestablish their pride and identity as blessed families. Expressing his determination to grow as an Inheritor of Heaven’s Love and Blessing who can fully attend and serve the members, he called on all to move forward together in faith.
In the discussion sessions that followed, he listened attentively to members’ stories and expressed gratitude, saying, “Your devotion is the foundation of today’s community,” revealing his deep love for the community. Regarding children’s education, he shared memories of his father, Hyo-jin nim, offering direction while emphasizing that the church must prioritize embracing and protecting second-generation members. He also highlighted the importance of love and harmony within the family.
Im Jeong-suk (Jangheung Church) shared, “I will strive to feel the heart of True Parents more deeply and live a life that shares that love.” Baek Seung-su (Yeoncheon Church) said, “As I began my professional life, there was a time when my sense of identity wavered. Through this message, I regained the strength to move forward with clarity, reflecting again on the value of being part of a blessed family.”
Shimada Koji, leader of East Busan Church, remarked, “Every word Missionary Moon spoke deeply resonated with me. What he said helped me rediscover that Heavenly Parent is watching over us.” His wife added, “This service gave me the opportunity to rediscover the identity of blessed families as part of the chosen Korean people. Going forward, we will strive to live as an exemplary family within our community.”
The nationwide Korean church tour by the two Inheritors of Heaven’s Love and Blessing is more than a series of visits. By connecting churches across the country, it has become a meaningful opportunity for the young generation and core members to reflect on the meaning of faith and strengthen the bonds of community. While Missionary Moon Shin-chul’s tour created space to share challenges and explore direction in young generation education, Missionary Moon Shin-heung’s tour, through Sunday Services and discussions, is aimed at reestablishing the identity and pride of blessed families. This tour will serve to bring to life the meaning of the Great Epic of the Chosen Han People of Korea, long emphasized by True Parents, and to firmly establish the identity and responsibility of blessed families.
