Intergenerational Exchange
The “Higher Ground” North American tour visited the major regions of the Midwest and Western United States from March 3 to 29 (HC 1.15 to 2.11), leading to reaffirmation of the direction of faith and the expansion of intergenerational exchange. Continental Director Rev. Demian Dunkley visited churches in Omaha, Missouri, Michigan, and the city of Chicago in Illinois, spending meaningful time in Q&A sessions and in fellowship with members.
At the March 8 service at the Chicago Family Church, Rev. Dunkley’s message emphasized how our
faith is not in institutions, but in Heavenly Parent, and how God’s dream for us is not of the distant future but one that we are to experience now, starting within our families.

A “Higher Ground” North America Tour Special Worship Service was held on March 15 at the Los Angeles Family Church. Some 300 people attended the service, including WCLC Chairman Rev. Kim
Ki-hoon and KCLC Co-Chair Rev. Seo Jin-woo. The service featured a special Hyo Jin Moon Concert by
the LA Family Band, which performed Hyo Jin Nim’s songs live, and was followed by other artistic and
dance performances. Rev. Dunkley’s sermon reminded everyone that even if other things are taken away, our identity as God’s son or daughter can never be.
A dedication ceremony for the new youth hub, Spiceland Campus, was held on March 22. The campus has been established as a faith center for young people. Participants expressed their hope that through this space, the young generation members will establish their identity and carry forward Heaven’s mission. During the Sunday Service, some 170 members shared in grace under the theme of “Unity with True Parents.” Rev. Dunkley emphasized letting go and moving forward boldly into this new era. The Next Gen Missionary Choir delivered grace and inspiration through praise, and the members renewed their resolve to move forward with confidence as God’s sons and daughters.
During the last week of March, the Higher Ground North America tour continued across Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada. Demian Dunkley and his wife Yumiko visited Denver, Colorado, Salt Lake City, Utah, and the Arizona Family Church where they had meetings with local members and time to answer their questions. And on March 29, they attended Sunday Service at Han Hwa Gung in Las Vegas where Rev. Dunkley engaged with members, answering questions about the current situation and how we can respond through our lives of faith.
The “Higher Ground” North America tour is a journey to strengthen foundations of faith and make
clear the path of the younger generation members through worship, music, on-site communication, and
the creation of dedicated spaces for their faith and inspiration.
