Support for the Providence
The “Higher Ground” North America tour continued from April 5 to 19, visiting major cities including Dallas and Fort Worth (Texas), Washington DC, Atlanta (Georgia), New Jersey and New York States, as well as Toronto and Montreal in Canada.
The “Higher Ground” North America tour reached Dallas-Fort Worth Family Church on April 5 where some 200 members gathered. Sunday service began with praise and worship, with one new member expressing gratitude for the warm welcome. Heavenly North America Continental Director Demian Dunkley shared that living together with True Parents, the embodiments of life and truth, is the path to transforming history. After the service, members and blessed families gathered to share about their vision for the future and the path forward.
This was followed by fellowship gatherings with Rev. Demian Dunkley and members in Washington DC and Atlanta Georgia from April 10 to 14. On April 12, 150 attended the service in Atlanta. In Toronto and Montreal, Canada, talks on True Parents’ providence and the future direction of the community were accompanied by Q&A sessions.
On April 18 and 19 the tour moved on to New Jersey and to Belvedere in New York State. At the New Jersey church, Continental Director Demian Dunkley delivered a message to the family members on the dream and vision of Heavenly Parent and True Parents. Sunday worship was held at the Belvedere Training Center in Tarrytown, New York. Newly appointed Deputy Leader for the Northeast District Kazuhide Kikuchi greeted the congregation for the first time. Rev. Dunkley urged the blessed families to maintain an attitude of devotion toward others even amid difficult circumstances, and the family members pledged to move forward in unity with True Parents.
