Exploring the role of religion in realizing a peaceful
community

The “First Symposium on the Chosen Han People of Korea,” co-hosted by the Korea Religions Association and the Institute on the Chosen Han People of Korea, was held on February 11 (HC 12.24) at the Korea Religions Association headquarters. Some 50 leaders from a variety of religious denominations
attended. The seminar was organized to shed light on the history, faith, and cultural identity of the Korean people and to explore the role of religion in realizing a peaceful community. Korea Religions
Association President Hong Yoon-jong said that interdenominational solidarity would continue to pave the way toward harmony among all people, and participants were attracted by the vision of One Family under God.
