Fostering Teamwork Based on Universal Values
In October 2025, IAYSP Zambia carried out a three-day outreach campaign in Ndola to inspire and prepare students for upcoming examinations. The initiative combined academic motivation with character education, emphasizing universal values such as responsibility, service, respect, and teamwork.
Led by IAYSP Vice President Clarence Phiri and U.S. youth missionary Elliot Ojeda, the program reached five schools—Premier Ladybird Education Center, Makenzie Community School, Multiple Care Community School, Lovely Smiles Christian School, and Madalitso Wits Sports Academy. Activities included motivational talks, character lessons, group discussions, and team-building exercises, all designed to strengthen perseverance, empathy, and leadership among learners.
The campaign resulted in heightened confidence and exam readiness, deeper awareness of the role of good character in success, positive feedback from educators, and new partnerships with schools eager to host similar programs.
Looking ahead, IAYSP Zambia plans to expand the outreach to more provinces, develop mentorship programs, and collaborate with education stakeholders to integrate character education into school curricula. The initiative reaffirmed that true academic excellence must be grounded in moral integrity and inner strength, positioning IAYSP Zambia as a guiding force for youth development and community impact.
