Building Character Through Tong-Il Moo-Do
The Zambia Tong-Il Moo-Do Federation held its national grading test on September 12 at the federation’s national dojang.
Thirty trainees, ranging from yellow to brown belt, took part in evaluations appropriate to their respective levels. The assessment covered not only practical martial arts techniques but also their understanding of Tong-Il Moo-Do philosophy, character and attitude.
All 30 participants successfully passed the test, achieving a 100 percent pass rate.
The grading provided an opportunity to reaffirm the educational value of Tong-Il Moo-Do, which seeks to cultivate not only martial arts skills but also discipline, responsibility and sound values.
