Khmer New Year: The Spiritual Growth of Pure Waters
A spiritual workshop for second generation youth was held from April 11 to 12 at the Phnom Penh church headquarters in Cambodia. Organized in celebration of the traditional Khmer New Year holiday, the
workshop brought together second-generation children and youth ages 6 to 15. Hyodong children and Seonghwa students shared a time of prayer, laughter, unity and grace that included outdoor activities together, a worship service and a New Year dinner.
FFWPU National Leader Tang Kimsruy spoke to the children about their true identity as God’s children: “God loves me. I pray and do good. I love my family and friends.” He urged them to become Pure Waters that grow with Heavenly Parent at the center of their lives.
