Expansion of Latin American Networks and
Strengthening Younger Generation Solidarity

Between March 11 and 22 (HC 1.23-2.4) World Mission Headquarters Director-General Rev. Ken Doo visited Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Bolivia with a view to strengthening the solidarity of faith communities and particularly the foundation of the younger generation in Latin America. Rev. Doo’s tour of South America began in Paraguay on March 11 and 12 (HC 1.23-24). At the Asunción
Headquarters, Rev. Doo met with local leaders and shared a heartfelt and inspiring message, drawing the
members closer to True Parents’ heart. Participants vowed to strengthen the bond between the local
mission areas and the World Mission Headquarters, and to devote themselves to the path of the will.

On March 14 (HC 1.26), a Cranes Club luncheon was held at the Brazil Headquarters. Together with Director- General Doo, participants celebrated the launch of the Latin America Cranes Club, making plans to form a community of leaders who contribute positively to society. That afternoon, the Pure Water Festival brought together more than 700 young people for a vibrant program featuring music, a Tong-Il Moo-Do demonstration, and dance performances. On March 15 (HC 1.27), a special worship service
led by Rev. Doo drew a congregation of 2,000 who attended both in person and online.

From March 16 to 19 (HC 1.28 2.1), Rev. Doo visited Argentina. The delegation visited key providential sites and observed firsthand the foundation established by True Parents and the historical development carried out by the Argentine community. On the next day, a leadership meeting was held, which was followed by a meeting for all the Argentine families. Rev. Doo gave guidance and conveyed True Mother’s heart to the members in Argentina. Through a time of healing, encouragement, and renewed
determination, the Argentine community received inspiration to continue the task of building Cheon Il
Guk.

As the fourth stop in the Central and South America tour, from March 19 to 21 (HC 2.1-3) Rev. Doo and
the delegation visited Uruguay. In Montevideo, they visited major holy sites such as the Victoria Plaza Hotel and the National Garden, reflecting on the efforts True Parents made for the development of these locations. A meaningful exchange took place with the younger members with open dialogue and the sharing of ideas and experiences. A delightful dinner with musical performances was shared by all in an atmosphere of warmth and joy. Rev. Doo emphasized the importance of witnessing to friends and others around us, especially through the love practiced and shared within our own community. The result was a renewed commitment to move forward with determination, unity, and dedication.

From March 21 to 22 (HC 2.3-4), Rev. Doo visited Bolivia. More than 130 young people participated in
a Pure Water youth event in Santa Cruz. Rev. Doo reminded the young people of their identity as crystal
clear water, encouraging them to shine within society and to share the love of Heavenly Parent with others. During the Sunday Service, he emphasized that only when the value and status of Heavenly Mother are understood will women attain their original and equal worth.
The Director-General’s tour of providential Latin American countries strengthened the foundation
for cooperation among these faith communities and expanded the solidarity of the younger generation.
