Shaping the future of the community together with young people
Activities for young people were organized by the Family Federation youth department
and IAYSP in the Democratic Republic of the Congo from February 14 to 18 (HC 12.27-1.2). At a
strategy meeting, Continental Director Jean-Pierre Kadima asked a group of young entrepreneurs to
cultivate a spirit of responsibility and excellence in their economic endeavors and encouraged them to
dedicate their talents to the community in order to build a lasting legacy for future generations. Youth
Peace Ambassadors were appointed and discussions continued on the subject of the peace process in the
Democratic Republic of the Congo. The young people of CARP explored the theme of ethics and morality,
emphasizing the responsibility to speak the truth and to do good. A celebration of the 400 Million Couples Blessing anniversary, held at the Ngaliema Church, was a time for reflection, profound gratitude to Heavenly Parent, and renewed commitment.
