Harmony and Fellowship Forged through the Passion of Youth
On August 23 (7.1 by the heavenly calendar), the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Central and South America held a Youth Assembly and Opening Ceremony for the HJ Peace Center at the Continental Headquarters. Youth participated both online and offline, fostering a spirit of harmony and fellowship. A stirring performance by Brazil’s New Hope Garden Band and guest artists was followed by a cultural showcase featuring eight teams from Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, and other nations. Rev. Kim Dong-woo, Continental Director of Heavenly Central and South America, shared his hope that the culture of Cheon Il Guk would spread globally, centered on the HJ Peace Center. Rev. Samuel Ota Linares, National Leader of FFWPU Brazil, encouraged the youth to be reborn as sons and daughters who can carry forward True Parents’ providence. This event served as a powerful moment of unity through culture, and anticipation is growing for continued exchange and collaboration centered on the Peace Center.
