Two days from October 24 to 25 featuring special exhibitions and a variety of hands-on programs

From October 24 to 25, a holy ground pilgrimage to Cheon Jeong Gung and Cheon Won Gung will be held on the occasion of the 2026 Autumn Hyojeong CheonBo Special Great Works.

The pilgrimage has been prepared for blessed families from around the world who are attending the Great Works. Pilgrims will be able to tour the main areas of Cheon Jeong Gung and Cheon Won Gung and take part in a range of exhibitions and hands-on programs.

At Cheon Jeong Gung, the program includes devotions in the Special Prayer Room, a special exhibition marking the 20th anniversary of the Cheon Jeong Gung Entrance and Coronation Ceremony, and a photo exhibition commemorating the 14th anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa. Suseonhwa Café and special programs will also be available.

At Cheon Won Gung, pilgrims can take part in rituals at Cheon Il Sanctum and visit the Registry of Cheonseung Families, The Great Epic of the Chosen Han People of Korea, the Cheon Won Museum of Art, and the Moon Hyo-jin Special Exhibition. An event zone featuring a café and bakery, a Mini Peace Cup experience, and the Holy Wells Zone will offer a variety of additional activities.

On both days, the pilgrimage will be self-guided. Cheon Jeong Gung will be open in two sessions, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with last admission at 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively. Cheon Won Gung will be open all day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last admission at 4:30 p.m.

Free shuttle buses will also run for pilgrims. Members who wish to use the shuttle may apply either in advance or on site.

Advance registration is open from October 5 until 11 a.m. on October 19 through the pilgrimage registration website (https://hjgung.org/2026-10/). It is intended for members who own vehicles. Individual registration is possible, but registration by church is encouraged.

On-site registration will take place on October 24 and 25 at the World Center lawn plaza. From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., shuttle tickets for the corresponding time slot will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.

Shuttle tickets must be requested in person by the passenger who will actually ride, and they may not be issued by proxy or transferred. Standing passengers will not be permitted once all seats are taken. Instead, a waiting number will be issued on site, and passengers may board as seats become available.

Pilgrims are asked to dress modestly. Slippers, Crocs, sandals, and shorts are not permitted. For safety reasons, walking down from the holy ground on foot is also restricted.

Through the main exhibitions and programs at Cheon Jeong Gung and Cheon Won Gung, the pilgrimage is expected to be a time for blessed families from around the world attending the Great Works to reflect anew on the meaning of their faith and to offer their devotion together.
