A Pledge for Peace Built upon the Spirit of Patriotic Martyrs
The Korea Reunification Independence Movement and Peace March commemorating the 107th
Anniversary of the March 1st Independence Movement was held at the Yu Gwan-sun Memorial Site. One hundred people attended, including Korea Religions Association President Hong Yun-jong, Co-chair of KCLC Rev. Seo Jin-woo, leaders of five major religious traditions and ambassadors for peace.
Participants honored the sacrificial spirit of the patriotic martyrs and prayed for the peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula, while the religious leaders united in prayer for the same purpose. President Hong Yun-jong encouraged participants to inherit the spirit of Yu Gwan-sun and actively advance the movement for peaceful reunification. Participants strengthened their determination as they jointly proclaimed, “Mansei for the reunification of Korea!”
